I would definitely shell out more for a mtb bike, i bought my 2024 Polygon Siskiu T7 for ~1800$ after tax and shipping, but you could definitely find a hardtail for less that’s still quality

Did your uncle give it to you expecting you to sell it? Why are you asking if it’s worth anything?

Frame is made for rim and disc brakes, when mt bikes were transitioning to disc. Model year is around 2000ish, it’s over 20 years old.
Components are mid range SRAM, I see an X-5 rear derailleur. Nothing special and won’t garner interest for those looking for older XTR stuff. So not worth selling the individual parts.
Would be worth more to a Cannondale collector if it had a HeadShock that could be used for parts. For a quick sale it would have to be priced in the $150 – $200 range in my area.
