I would offer the seller like $130-140 it’s not in great shape. If it had all its components nice and clean and not so worn then maybe $200 would have been a fair price.

These cheap as fat bikes go on sale down to 300ish. Looks clapped out I’d pass

I’d pass, it looks like it’s in dire need of service and the parts that would need to bring it up-to-date would far exceeded value you’ll be throwing good money after bad.

I bought that bike new for $176 9 years ago. My dad still has it after some upgrades and rides it regularly. I moved to an Argus Sport that I love. Personally I’d wait for an aluminum frame.

The sidewalls of those tires are looking pretty bad and that’s already $100+ of work, probably also needs a new chain. Add all the cosmetic damage and that’s not a great bargain for a Mongoose Malus that can be found for $350 brand new right now [https://www.target.com/p/mongoose-malus-fat-tire-26-34-mountain-bike-tan/-/A-81213487](https://www.target.com/p/mongoose-malus-fat-tire-26-34-mountain-bike-tan/-/A-81213487)

Mongoose is not a great brand, they’re often not set up or assembled properly by the high school part timer at the store. If you plan on riding that more than 10 hours this season I’d pass.
