I struggle to just go out for bike rides. I need a mission. Or a beer. Getting groceries makes it pretty fun though.

Grocery runs are probably 75% of my bike rides.

This mornings grocery run was about 21 miles r/t. You meet some of the nicest people on the trail.

Is that a bell on the left of the (handle bar mount thingy) lol. Bike part names aren’t my specialty lol. 😂

You need to show how much you are hauling home.

Good work! It’s great once you get the flow of it!

Looks like an altogether pleasant route. Does the store have adequate bike parking?

It makes it a nice enjoyable activity. Not another car centered task

Alright, I’m gonna be the snob here. For context, I’m a bike mechanic. Looks to me like some sort of Walmart or Amazon bike. I’ve worked on lots of those things and it still pains me to see people who don’t know much yet end up with them. I am a huge proponent for affordable bikes, but most bikes from Amazon and Walmart aren’t affordable, they’re cheap. So many ways the companies make those bikes worse than they need to be just to turn around a quick profit. If you can afford it, I would recommend selling that bike as soon as possible and purchasing something used, simple, and reliable, you’ll enjoy the ride even more than you thought possible. If not, make do with what you got, nothing wrong with that.
