This ride comes from a late summer weekend in Purbeck Island, Dorset. It’s not an island at all, but it does feel cut off from the rest of the country by a steep line of hills. Guarding the only gap on this ridge stands the mighty Corfe Castle, impressively visible from distance, unforgettable at first sight.
The music is a one shot improvised conversation between a Soprano Saxophone and a reverb unit. I like the lonely vocal quality and unsettling nature of the result.

Y'all's history – and that of the continent, the church(es), the role of the mideast etc., has always fascinated me. Thanks for the ride!
Lovely landscape Dave! The music is unsettling indeed, any moment I expect to bump into a murder scene or did I watch too many English detective series?
