Tune into a behind the scenes look into my first triathlon and the week leading up to the race. The competition was spectacular and really couldn’t have asked for better conditions. However, this weekend was more than just a race. It was a chance to continue to become more like the man God is calling me to be and to use the race as an opportunity to push myself and suffer well. Grateful to cross this off the list. Excited for the next one!

  1. good for you!

    I like reading proverbs, too.

Have you thought about doing low carb, and comparing your performance? I'm doing low carb now, but I'm past my athletic prime. I would've liked to have tried it in my athletic prime though.

I'm getting the book, 'The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Performance," by Stephen Phinney MD/PhD and Jeff Volek, PhD. It's supposed to be arriving from amazon today.

  2. Very Nice! Glad you was able to document this. I didn't know you decided to transition into the triathlon. Maybe you'll compete in the 800m as an unattached athlete one last time someday? Anyway look forward to your next event 🙂
