*How can one distinguish male and female Nepenthes? What determines sex in Nepenthes, and can it change?
*How do these plants mate in the wild, and why can all (?) Nepenthes species hybridize?
*This talk will focus on the intriguing world of Nepenthes sex, unraveling their evolution, genetics, development, and ecology.

Presenter Mathias Scharmann, a biologist passionately obsessed with carnivorous plants, is a researcher at the University of Potsdam, Germany.
