To kick off Roll Into Spring Bike Week 2024, we hosted a “Speedy Bike Info Night”. The event was modelled after speed dating and each of the eleven groups had just 5 minutes to tell us about themselves. The participating groups were Halifax Cycling Coalition, Kidical Mass, Legal Road Users, Coffee Outside, Dal Bike, The Monthly Cycle, Halifax Bike Mayor, Cycling Nova Scotia, Ecology Action Centre, Halifax Bicycle Music Festival and Halifax Bike Party. It was a fun and informative night!

From what I've been hearing none of the mayoral candidates running are bike friendly. The new bicycle infrastructure, if any , is definitely not keeping up with the growing population. Now the city wants to take more green space from the commons in order to put up yet again another parking lot
