You should have tried surfing the other lift in Scarborough Brunswick centre that goes between the upper and lower mall levels. It has doors on the other side that used to open into the former Debenhams unit that is currently abandoned. You could have used it to sneak in and explore that.
14:40 if you think the excel is really long, then you should do the T4 TrawsCymru in Wales from Cardiff to Newtown. 160 km long (100 miles), 4 hours end to end!
Good video Ben, do the Express lift in Bedford and do the last video before the last lift gets modernised because 2 lifts are due to open and the last Express lift in the centre goes at the start of June
26:29 The only way probably that they could get permission to convert will be why it got you going a fair bit. In such cases, the stipulations meant that it not only had to be easily reversible but had to look as inconsequential as possible as well. The middle rail will have been as a part guide, part emergency braking facility.
5:42 Those lifts actually look like the original lifts from when the centre was built but have been modernised in the 2000s. Might have been something like Otis Series One or Kone TMS lifts originally.
8:24 They did this in 2012 to the late 1980s Otis lifts in the car park of a local shopping centre that had glass windows at the back of the shaft and lifts. They also stuck ads onto the windows on the inside and exterior windows of the shaft which was extremely irritating! 🙂
Finally, you filmed an elevator in King's Lynn, where I used to live in. (And yeah, it is kind of a strange name, especially since every other town with that name is simply called "Lynn".)
"Peterborough is a shithole!" – I 100% agree mate as I had the misfortune of living there. Nottingham is way better than that toilet. Coventry is even better than Peterborough. The best places I have lived in is London and Nottingham.

so many shopingcenters but nobody is shopping in it or so less that maintaining theese centers are wired.
an exception should be made if it means going on one of Northern's 323s. They also have such unique sounding announcements on them now!

It's funny, I was in Chelmsford today.
For the Yorkshire bus gap you could have taken X3 to Meadowhall, X17 to Barnsley, 59 to Wakefield then 110 to Leeds
Strange. I could've sworn the twin glass lifts in Castle Mall were Thyssenkrupp, anyway, great video as always!
