  1. so good to know you can now use cameras in races. (guess I should read my handbook lol!) I never used to get fined, I always got pulled from the races, so that kinda ruined it all.

  2. This was interesting for the training perspective too. I really enjoy racing on Rouvy – especially the early Sunday morning "muckers" races. 9-15am every sunday and pretty much always a hill climb. We have raced Monte Grappa a few times this month and Passo Sella last Sunday. It pretty much always end up with a group of strong riders averaging around 4 w/kg with the occasional power burst and then everyone behind tends to be spread out.
My biggest problem is that I start out at max effort to get to the front and then spend maybe half of the race towing everyone along – and then burning out, or if I am in a chase group and trying / willing for a train to be organised and the moment you move ahead to take your turn and someone just sprints ahead.

Anyway it would be great to see you at this sunday's race. I suspect it may be passo sella again, so just over 1000m through 17km (maxes out at 16% with an average 6% overall)
