  1. Some top level shilling going on here. Exhibit A… The CAAD13, a bike that Cycling Weekly themselves have said is well overdue an upgrade. If you had to have an alloy bike in here then how you would choose the CAAD over the Emonda ALR is beyond me. Cheaper, more modern and with welds that don't look like they were made by a blind monkey. Still, at least CW remains consistent.

  2. How in the name of god is Cube Agree/Attain not on this list? If it’s meant to be genuinely helpful? Ultegra level carbon bikes for €3,000 is unbeatable by anyone. Even Canyon. Can only conclude like others this is a marketing piece.

  3. thanks ! but no thanks ! i will stick with my cannondale supersix evo hi mod 2016 ultegra mechanical rim brake 6.6kg with pedals ! pick one up second hand for circa £1,500 ! cheep low maintenance very high end performance ! N.B 85% of aero comes from your body position and clothing on the bike !

  4. My two favorite road bikes for 2025:
My 2000 Serotta with Reynolds’s 853 main tubes and Serotta carbon fork and 2000 Campagnolo Chorus 10 speed group.
My 2004 Specialized Allez CroMo made with Columbus FoMoCo tubing, so it’s Mo Fuckin Good! It came with carbon fork and Shimano 6600 Ultegra 10 speed group.

    To each his own.

  5. This advert is BS sorry

Gonna go ride my trusty old light and aero rim brake bike up a hill and down again

Good luck with these 2025 monstrosities

  6. Just like my dearly departed C59, the C68 is a work of art and a beautiful bike to ride. However, whilst extremely expensive Colnago’s warranty is amongst the worst in the world, if not the worst, for dollars spent. So unless you are happy to just hang it on the wall, after the bottom bracket cracks from galvanic corrosion, and all Colnago have to say is “Sorry, don’t ride it”, don’t waste your hard earned money.😢

  7. If I want a bike it must stand-out and not be a boring "Clone" like most people ride!
If I am paying big money, I also expect Italian-made, not sweat-shop garbage!
It must also have equipment I want, meaning no bland, unexciting Shima(NO!).
    This mean's I need a custom-build, as there is nothing I want!
Luckily, I recently bought a lightly used Colnago C64 to change from my C60 which was a lovely bike!
Young owner of C64 which had Campagnolo mechanical, said it was better than Shima(NO!), too!
I am changing to Campagnolo Super Record 12-speed EPS, with WTO 60 disc supplied!!!
I have just received my Deda Alanera RS carbon integrated bars which were special ordered with a
near £800 price tag, and a few months wait!
Unfortunately, Chicken Cycles never got the headset adaptor, although they knew what bike I had, so
I contacted Deda who sent one for FREE, with me only paying the next day delivery charge!!!
Selle SMP F30 carbon saddle was special ordered, as not available in UK, with most Campagnolo at
    bargain prices for some reason!?
I even have the gimmick Ceramic Speed OSPW, too!
Unlike most bikes, it will actually get the "Jealousy" out in people, as I also wear top-end bright Italian
clothing which is not available in the UK!
