  3. Consistency IS the key! Congrats! You can also try to incorporate, slowly, some lightweight dumbbell exercises to complement the walking routine, doesn't need to be super professional and take an hour, just pick them up throughout the day here and there. It will help add those few more burned calories and also start toning the muscle – as long as you're consistent it will all come together quite nicely sooner than you expect!

  4. this was the same reason I got myself a walk pad. where I live itโ€™s pretty scary to go outside for exercise and after a long time of frustration with feeling very unsafe when I just wanted to get some movement, I bought one of these and Iโ€™ve been able to walk pretty much every day. I also can walk howEVER much I want or can for the day without worrying how far away I am from my house or how dark it is or whether or not I have anyone with me for safety!
