Today I’m reacting to and explaining an epic piece of art sent in by a fan. It is a world map that shows all the different Geoguessr clues from around the world. Many of which are quite niche, so as an experienced player, my aim is to explain them in this video, to improve your gameplay!

The speed limit is 80 mph in parts of the western U.S. high plains freeways. In the Eastern US, midwest and on the West Coast, the speed limit is rarely over 70 mph, never over 75. That is why that sign near Utah says 80.
What a wonderful map! Loved your explanations of everything too. 😊 But also:
Zi8gzag: I think I went over everything
Me, a Slovenian: Y-yes, you sure did… 🥲
(I don't think you mentioned Austria and Slovenia at all, but it's not like there's much on the map there anyway xD)

20:18 Main roads in Ukraine improved a lot since the coverage was done but small ones still shoddy because of the other priorities during the war. Also “місто” really means “city” and your prononciation is perfect!
nome and unalakleet both have it right?
Lidl is a German company, that's why it's there – it's plonked fairly close to their HQ too.
You really need to send this to Crainer and Slogo
39:08 "' we got just some white flowers''' bro they''re deadly…
Lovely walkthrough! I think the missing borders point out very common 50/50s – like northern Sweden and northern Finland. There's also no border between Botswana and South Africa.
as someone from New jersey, shoprite is really only in New Jersey, New York and some of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Maryland
Iqaluit is pronounced ee-kal-oo-wet
Daaaammn, salute to the artist (and you for explaining it all)
Kum-n-Go is a chain of gas stations and convenience stores. They're trying to expand more nationally but are going to change their awkward name first 😂
1:24 Fire Hydrant colors are used to indicate the water flow rate.
511 Murphy Cliff
26:53 Pronunciation of Maharashtra is as accurate as it can get for an American.
for arrêt I think the proper one is without the "te" sound at the end but it varies by region I think cause im franco-ontarien and I find myself saying arrete and not arrêt
Two minutes in an I have to pause so I can watch when I can give this my fullest attention. This is amazing.
8:01 you missed to mention the famous"grid" on the southwest of "big island"
8:27 thats the panama Alto sign in Panama not colo
11:41 montserrat flag, has trekker
Zi8gzag stole the "ENHANCE! ENHANCE!" gimmick from Jack and take it to the pro level
Jelen from Serbian map is most popular Beer brand over here. Idk why is it only thing that he could say about us but yeah. Just a bad beer 😄
Adding the straight line mission line across Wales is such a nice touch. Tom did so much for the game
Personally I wouldn't call most of these things metas. For me metas are things like the the google car, roof rack, camera generation, etc. Something that is entirely the result of how the locations happened to be photographed and has nothing to do with what the place would actually look like if you were physically there. Maybe I'm misremembering but I think a few years ago (when geoguessr streamers started getting moderately popular on twitch) that was the common definition, but it's widened since then.
What's good zigzag it's a viewer here
33:54 Noooooo!!! That is not a Canberra bus stop at all, that is the other NSW bus stop sign. I don't remember why they have two types of bus stops or what the difference is, but I am afraid you made a mistake the one and only time my beloved Canberra will ever be mentioned, unless you're counting Queanbeyan as part of us (they will be upset by that)
anyone know where I can download the map? link doesnt work anymore
19:52 Yes we're a catholic country, but this reference is more specific. When someone dies in a car crash, sometimes people will set up a cross next to the road where the person died, especially in rural areas. Occasionally there will be flowers as well. (Until now, it never occured to me that this might be Poland-specific thing)
i think you missed Svalbard
What since when do you have this much subscribers
3:09 @zi8gzag they also have those in New-Brunswick and they’re used as trash bins on the sode of the road!
8:27 that's panama
The drawing of the bus / van in the Russian Far East could be referring to all the Japanese cars you find there, that looks like it could be a typical Japanese style flat fronted minivan of some sort
waffle houses stretch up to ohio / virginia
You missed white dots around the road in Estonia as the famous Estonian white flowers 😉
15:40 small correction: swiss speed signs don't have town names, it always says "Generell" (or "Limite générale" / "Limite generale" / "Limita generala" based on which part of the country). This is unique to switzerland. Fun fact: Switzerland has a 'skiing forbidden' road sign: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/38/CH-Vorschriftssignal-Skifahren_verboten.svg/120px-CH-Vorschriftssignal-Skifahren_verboten.svg.png
5:13 all kum & go's got renamed to maverik recently. (And yes, it is a gas station.)
