An abhorrent mix of new and old combine to make my BStone 300 ’84 fixed gear/single speed

I have a front brake and I also still have all of the original parts collected in a bin over my BStobe’s multiple variety of identities.
She can be restored entirely to stock (minus the original gum wall tires which are cracked past usefulness)

She’s heavy and tuff and rides like a Cadillac DeVille

Clearly new bar tape is in order. Fizik didn’t last me worth a damn. Anyone have a better recommendation?

She’s always been a great frame to experiment in because her geometry is laid back enough to accommodate beefy tires while still looking relatively svelte

Kisu (my adorable runt Maine Coon) was verrrry curious about the bike being in the living room… 😺

Also, I probably need a new chain. This one is KMC. Anyone have a comparably priced recommendation
