I thought I was gonna have to suffer being clipped by angry cars throughout my commute.
Per the advice I've seen, I decided to explore alternate routes to work today on my day off: discovered that the National Cycle Network route saddles the road I take and this is where it leads me
God this is gonna be so good for me.

~~Some~~ Most days the commute is the best part of my day. You’d have to have a great job to beat 6 miles on a paved trail alongside a creek through woodlands.
