Bikepacking, cycle touring across Spain from Santander, Cantabria in the north to Malaga, Andalusia in the south.
Day 1 is all about getting my legs moving after the 33hour ferry crossing from Portsmouth, UK.
I get out of Santander, onto the stunning Via Verde (Green lane) and climb the first big hill of the tour for a Wild Camp. The rain couldn’t dampen my spirits!!
There’s a map of the day’s route at the end of each video plus link to the GPX file to see in more detail : https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/16940369460

Nice , I've been looking forward to this video
Your camera and videography have got really professional. JOGLE was good but this was brilliant. The voice over and music are great! Well done, buddy. Well done! I wish you put more in about your overnight – Iād love to see more of your camp and nighttime adventures. š
Thanks so much for clicking on this series. I've tried to capture the highs and lows of, what is for me, a challenge of a lifetime! This tour had me digging deep but the forever changing landscapes, the changing weather and of course the welcoming people of Spain kept me going.
This is episode one, i'll be uploading every Friday at 6pm…. see you there š
Check out the description box for more information on each day and the GPX File for each day š
Great footage of this epic trip , so envious , countryside looks lovely , wish i had the time to do this ! what model Garmin you using matey? keep enjoying your trip šŖ
Hola, great video of this big adventure trip, i think you will be walking quite a few hills which is wise, look after your knees pal. So wild camping most of the time, but there will be Campsites with showers and or hostals, etc. When you stop at a village/town and you want a cooked dinner ask the waiter for a Del Dia which is menue/meal of the day which usually is a 3 course meal which might include a small drink (beer or wine)the cost would be the equivalent of 1 course in the UK, this may more apparent in a town maybe and perhaps further south but it might be everywhere? I live in the south of Spain but not in the area your heading for, good luck and all the best and take care, look forward to the next part šš
Looks awesome brother Mark, you're a machine!
We did this route in May……I feel your pain…..stunning area
