Sweet purple metallic color. BIG AF (67cm sheesh) looks like brakes, crankset, front/rear dr, handlebars? all replaced
Shimano 600 brakes front and rear
Shimano 105 rear dr and downtime shifters
Sakae SX crankset 52/42 w/Shimano something or another pedals minus the straps I took off.
This all could be the way the bike came but looking at older catalogs I couldnāt find one configured this way.
First ride starts rn
Wheels/cassette look original.

Yeah, mid-late eighties. That purple is siiiiick.
BTW, the way you say that the rear gears don’t quite sit right, but fiddling with the shifter helps, indicates that you need to dial in the indexing. It’s fairly simple, all you really have to do is go to the rear derailleur and slightly screw in our screw out the cable adjuster. If you can get the rear of the bike up off the ground so you can pedal minutes and requires no tools.

There should be mounts for a 74bcd chainring. (you’d need a longer BB, tho)
