Mongoose is not really the best but enough for beginning even if it might be a bit to heavy
But do yourself a favor and dont buy such stuff from amazon
Rather look up a valid source like sourcebmx or a local shop somewhere
Since the cumstomer service will be way better or avaible at all
Edit ; and you can be sure that its gonna be the real deal instead of some cheam nockoff bs

I own this bike. I’m 5’8 and weigh about 230. I can’t tell you too much because I completely rebuilt it once I bought it used. Wheels aren’t great single wall very weak bend easily. I replaced with shadow wheels and hubs. Bars are decent but still kind of small swapped out for 10 inch bars sprockets should always be changed on a stock bike. Other than that solid bike for sure. I have pics of mine on my page I’m pretty sure.

The kid that mows my lawn has one, and I’d say they’re absolutely perfect for a beginner.
After mowing my lawn for a year though, he now has a fit TRL. That was his payment for last year’s mowing.

I have the Mongoose Legion L80 and I think it’s a great beginner bike.
