My friend got these tires for his bike, is it safe to install and ride these? Says they’re for moped. What should I tell him? Thanks!

It’ll be fine. They’ll be heavier than they need to be for that application but having too much tire for the job isn’t unsafe. Silly, but safe.

Those aren’t moped tires, they’re bike tires. No moped has 650b rims. Maybe the manufacturer is trying to communicate they’re for an ebike.
