I love how you explain it in such an easy to understand why. BTW, you said landfills are turned into parks. There is one near where I grew up. They built a park, golf course, and pond on it. I remember remember taking pop cans there to be recycled when I was a kid. Now that area is a parking lot. Absolutely mind blowing.

Strange how all the “toxic things on earth are created by natural things produced by the earth . Elements found everywhere in the universe.
Considering all the plastic , tires and material that will never decompose in a landfill , potential mummification of the trash not fully decomposing, we definitely have to find another way to manufacture and dispose of our waste. And yes that stuff is not supposed to find its way into a landfill but it does .

Plastic is raping everything. Next time you go into a department store just imagine everything in there will be in the ocean or the ground. (Recycling plastic don't make me laugh) Then multiply that by every store in the world then multiply that for how many years to come? And how many years its been?
Why don't they simply fill in the Exhausted mines….??

An open cast mine near where I grew up was turned into landfill and is now a golf course and park
I live in the UK. There is a local landfill that uses an old quarry. The leachate is drained and pumped directly into one of the local rivers. Our rivers are so f*d up becuase of stuff like this

I love telling people where the dump was in our city. They built a ton of homes and apartments on top of it 😂 I tell people not to buy homes there and why they are so cheap
