Russian war bloggers slammed Putin’s claim that Prigozhin’s jet was blown up with hand grenades while those on board were high on cocaine and alcohol.
On October 5, Putin said fragments of grenades were found in the dead bodies and that investigators had ruled out any external impact on the plane. Putin also appeared to hint at a possible drug link to the crash, which Ukraine and its Western allies have blamed on the Kremlin.
While Wagner linked Telegram channels were silent, some supporters and patriotic bloggers expressed disbelief at Putin’s claims. A pro-war Russian telegram channel said Putin had suggested “that the most combat-ready unit in Russia was commanded by alcoholics and junkies.”
Another Telegram channel called Putin’s theory of self-detonation as “laughable and a farce.” “Two heroes of great Russia died in this plane crash, just in case someone forgot, and not druggies,” the Southern Front Telegram channel posted.

Possibly finding cocaine at Prigozhin's headquarters,means nothing. He was a man of many means. He traveled globally as a bounty hunter and undoubtedly conducted many state-sponsored raids and seizures. An individual who has their own jet,may or may not be able to leave an airport or arrive at an airport,without being searched. It depends on that person's affiliation with that particular airport's government.I'm sure he had lots of trophies. I don't think there's anybody, gullible enough, to believe any official account of anything that comes out of Russia. Prigozhin was killed when re-entering Russia,to go meet with Putin.
