As a newcomer, I want a nice bike that will last me a long time and I can ride with no problem. Is there anything I should be on the lookout? I am looking into this one that’s from Costco and they have a good return policy in case I don’t like it which I like, but it’s also pricey, but I don’t mind paying that if it’s gonna last me years and in case I change my mind about gravel cycling I can just return it with no problem.

The wheels aren’t the best. I think the price was lower than this at one point.
But. It’s a good deal. And make sure you have the executive membership so your get 4% back
If I’m not mistaken that is a Chinese made Carbonda frame. It’s used by another bike “manufacturer “ called Thesis.
I can’t speak for the components, but I bought that frame directly from a few years ago. I rode it as a road bike and gravel. It was awesome! I rode Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix sportives on it multiple gravel races as well as a couple of road races. My only complaint is that your limited to a 40mm tire, but that’s also what make it so versatile (a bigger tire would mean different geometry less suited for road riding).
When it was $1500 earlier this year, it was kind of a no brainer. But at $2500, I don’t know. I think I’d get something with electronic shifting, like the [Lauf Seigla Rigid](https://www.laufcycles.com/product/seigla-rigid) for $2600. The 951 line are relatively inexpensive bikes Intense can sell at Costco. It’s more just a frame they picked out of a catalog and put their decals on. Not to say it’s junk, but it’s a different product than buying an Intense or Specialized at a bike shop.
This time of year, might want to wait until Black Friday and see if any deals pop up.
Check the carbon “Ari” Bikes former Ferrari(I mean Fezzari) gravel bike, If I’m remembering well they come with the same parts at 2k, and personally I think they have a cool looking frame. Are headquartered in Utah.
There are a lot of better bikes on sale right now with similar spec.
