My 3 year old is starting to like bombing down hills. But he also gets going fast enough putting his feet down isn't much of an option.
I'll trim the zip ties. I still have some adjustments.

We have the kids ride shotgun balance bike for our 4 year old, very similar to this, it’s absolutely awesome.
Picked up a posiden sprout for $99 which has been awesome and so much better than the strider for my lil grom who just turned three.
The only downside is I don’t think there is a way to add a break and he has already ruined one pair of shoes
