Carbon fiber isn't my first choice for structural integrity items on a mountain bike, Or a submarine going past certain limits, Cross country, duel slalom, Short intervals of punishment switch out often, DH???, never no long term big abusive intervals, unless its tooling grade catbon fiber, Which no one person could afford to buy or make, it just that, tooling grade is the mold to make many parts off from, the grade they make parts from is most likely very affordable, Even titanium or aluminum needs to be replaced yearly in DH applications. 😊
