This is gonna be aimed at an oddly specific group of people but for those of you who know, how can I spot the difference without branding? I just bought what was listed as a soma rush and idk if I trust it or not I can’t tell. I’ve had a rum runner too but can’t seem to be sure of myself if it’s different or all in my head.

Between the two? Weight for sure.
Depending on the year/model, the brake clearances and reach is also different for the RR. Paint and finishing is also better. The seat stays on the Rush is also different (more recent iterations).
I haven’t owned either, but have ridden both. I’d imagine tubing sizes might also vary.
What have you noticed?
don’t the pake’s have a threadless headset? I know the rush is threaded only
Not a Rum Runner
It could be an older Rush. Only way to know for sure is to look at what’s stamped into the metal under the bottom bracket.
