  1. It wasn't the driver's fault. He was taking medication for his anxiety but the medication didn't make it clear enough that one of the side effects was drunkeness. He is now sueing the pharmaceutical company as well as the medical practitioner that prescribed it to him for 20 million dollars. The case is likely to be settled out of court for half that amount… Life is so fair !

  2. Bicyclists are such d bags. The guy shouldn’t have hit them but they’re always putting others at risk like motorcycles and large cars. They need to adhere to the standard and not the other way around

  3. No bike lane! No sidewalk! See how the government doesn't care about you? Regardless of all the taxes you pay. Now they're going to want to increase taxes for a bike lane or sidewalk. Hey idipts! Yes you, cars & bicycles shouldn't share the road. Any little mistake from a driver or cyclist will result in serious injury, not minor. It's so obvious!

  4. I have been a cyclist for many years. I had no problem riding in the road when there was no other traffic needing the lanes. That said, I believe the roads were made to get people around in an expedient manor. When I was using the road and noticed the traffic was getting busy, I would pull out of the vehicle lanes of traffic and use the sidewalk as long as there were no pedestrians there. I always treated people the way I would want to be treated. I think it’s foolish & selfish to demand ones own way when it hinders others from getting around in a more timely way!

  5. I have an extremely bright tail light for my bike. It is unreasonably bright and less than $100. I still see people riding with very expensive bikes and lights you can barely see.

  6. note: stop filming news reports by the road. all news stations do this. why? it is noisy and hectic…just pick a quiet spot and get it. NBC ABC and CBS all do this for decades. unreal. Australia has a huge problem with people hitting cyclists. do they think it is a video game? or have games affected the human mind, that we are now indifferent to doing that?
