Sightings began in 1940 with mysterious lights following bombers. Crews saw large wingless objects & other odd lights in 1942 & 1943, some of them even being shot at – to no visible effect. Throughout 1944, lights were reported following bombers, not only over Germany but across the Balkans as well. In November 1944, American night fighter crews started being pursued by mysterious lights, which were nicknamed Foo Fighters – although as you will learn, they saw them much earlier than the month normally associated with initial sightings. In addition, civilians reported close encounters with craft and their occupants – all this and more in the video.

  1. Gosh, I am your target audience, I really am. I love history and I love learning about the phenomenon, especially the historical cases… that said, I simply cannot listen to this. I will buy the book, but I cannot listen to this. It’s so distracting, the artificial voice narration. It’s not just distracting it’s that I can’t absorb the information because I’m so distracted by the voice. I’m so sorry. I will buy the book though.
