Hiya! I’m new here and eagerly seeking guidance…
I just recovered my stolen bike (YAYYY) but the thieves decimated its paint job with black spray paint (booooo).
Any tips on removing spray paint, as to still preserve the original paint job?

I’ve had good luck just using “fingernail polish remover” which is 30% to 60% acetone. Pure acetone is likely to soften the paint under the spray paint.

Thankfully it doesn’t look like they painted the components.
Goof Off liquid version, not the aerosol spray. That shit will take anything off.
