Nine flood warnings have been issued across Greater Manchester as heavy rain batters the region.

Flood warnings – the second most severe issued by the Environment Agency and meaning flooding is expected – are currently covering parts of Chadderton, Cheetham Hill, Crumpsall, Blackley, Lostock, Middleton, and north Manchester.

Seperate flood alerts, which means flooding is possible, are in place for parts of Bury, Manchester city centre and Salford Quays.

  1. Don't worry folks money towards the damage done has been redirected to Lebanon with 5 million aid it has from Britain already. A country that supports terrorists whilst pensioner's are going without this winter

  4. Be thankful there's water like this look how much water people use daily so this is needed as the country's population is rising so are more car wash places using alot of water…
