Add a link or two. Seriously. They cut it too short. You can add a quick link somewhere.
You add a link (or a half link) and move the wheel back.
Why do you want slack?
Il a little confused. Did they put a new chain? Do your freewheel and fixed cog have the same number of teeth?

Is that the tight spot of the chain? Spin your crack once and see if it loosen. If so I’d say it’s just fine.
Break the chain and add a link or quick link.
