Chris (@TheHeavySetCyclist) and I cycled a route we’ve been planning for a while and recently cycled by @cyclingn8 which is a loop around south east Birmingham using the Main line, Fazeley, Digbeth, Grand Union, Stratford and Worcester canals.
Here is the 55 minute video which is the smallest I could edit it down to while keeping enough of the stunning 4k high bitrate video. Central Birmingham is brutal and beautiful. So much history.
It was a fantastic ride and I’d really recommend it.

Hi Darren, love watching your cycling videos. I used to live in Alcester down the road from you. Have been some of the places you ride in the area. I like Gient bicycles, started back in 2007 with a Gient xtc co, of course with 26 inch wheels. That was in Australia. In the UK I had a Marin mount Vision, that was the 90s. Rode Stratford Grand union canal to Warwick. Riding along the canals was relaxing ,and lovely country side. Watched your videos on the Gient Defy and Revolt, great bikes. Getting a Defy advanced sl inthe next 2 weeks. The Trance emtb is so much fun on the trails, had that 5 months, I have a Common wealth bike course 5 km from where I live in Melbourne Australia. And 12 km away the Beach road that goes from Mordalic to the city, many road cyclists at weekends. Liked your new car video too. Keep safe on the roads, enjoy very much watching your content from my home country. All the best Tim Melbourne Australia.
Your footage is so clear, might need to upgrade my Go Pro! What bikes did you use?
