Weird sound coming from either like the chain bottom bracket or sprocket. I’m completely clueless and any thoughts is greatly appreciated. I want to start riding this thing but something tells me something is wrong clearly.

Is your chain too tight?
It’s another case of new chain syndrome, it’s not meshing as well on the driver and will need to wear in. Make sure if it’s a half link the chain is oriented correctly and not also upside down
