    You might want to get a flash. That last one looks like it could use some fill light. Check out what skateboard photographers are doing.

  2. Pic 1 might look sick if you took some color out of everything but the rider and boost the saturation of the rider/bike

    Keep shooting. Find your style. Foreground and layers are key. Isolate the rider. Clean shots are more appealing. Framing over editing style and use of flash etc for your first 1000 of good photos. You need to nail great framing before any other technique.

    Look at the best photographers in the mtb, skate, adventure genre.

    Looks like your capturing the moments well, the toughest part.

    Some friends who are willing to help schlep and hold reflectors to light your model would go a long way.

    Photographers need to carry twice or three times the load as everyone else.
