Our 8-day, 7-night bicycle tour of London and the Cotswolds region of England, with BRAG (Bicycle Ride Across Georgia) International Travel group, and with Active England handling the logistics and providing a wonderful tour guide and van support. Our group of 21 met up with our Active England tour guide Lauren at the Mercure London Paddington Hotel on August 23, where we spent 2 nights. A guided bicycle tour of London must-sees on the 24th with Fat Tire Tours was a rainy but informative adventure that included riding across the Tower Bridge. We had the evening free, so Sandra, Richard, Teresa and I enjoyed dinner and had excellent second row seats at Les Miserables in London’s West End theatre district. The next morning our group took the GWR train from Paddington Station to Moreton-in-Marsh, a beautiful village in the Cotswolds. After fitting us with our rental bikes, we rode a 26-mile loop to Chipping Campden and other lovely villages on mostly narrow country lanes. That set the tone for the next 5 days of cycling. We spent 3 nights at the Redesdale Arms hotel, doing various routes each day. Sadly, our travel companion Teresa crashed and broke her arm the morning of August 26, at the beginning of day 2 of the Cotswolds bicycle tour. She and Richard had to fly home for surgery on her arm and missed the rest of the itinerary. On August 27th we rode the bikes to our next hotel, the Prince of Burford Inn, our favorite, for 2 nights. On day 8, August 30 Sandra and I said our goodbyes to our new BRAG friends, and flew to Inverness Scotland for Part 2 of our 3-week UK vacation. Be sure to check out that video, coming soon.

  1. Wow @⁨Larmar Martin⁩ I can’t imagine how many hours it took to make such an extraordinary video. Perfect song choice, stunning photos and informative narrative. What an excellent recap of our amazing trip. Thank You so much for sharing your labor of love with us. I too used my All Trails app for the many Foot Paths I took.

  2. @Lamar in your video you mentioned you and Sandra wore your favorite mirrors in England. I need a mirror for my helmet so when I switch from my bike to my OneWheel my mirror goes with me. What kind of helmet mirrors do you use? Would you send me the link?
