Hi all, took a nasty crash and my cable tension is messed up for some reason. I wanna adjust it back but literally every single time I've tried adjust cable tension on this derailleur it won't let go of the cable. any suggestions? thanks

Weird The little lip holding the cable should be pretty loose with the screw like that, one thing that mayhelp is to turn the barrreladjuster clockwise to release tension on the cable.
Cut it where it enters the housing. You gotta replace it anyway
insert a thin flathead next to the cable and twist. Just need to wiggle that washer basically. Its loose, just tension from the cable keeping it in place. maybe pulling the derailer back to releive tension will help also
Unscrew the screw all the way out. Use a flat head screw driver to pry it loose.
Exactly. Use a flat blade screwdriver or a pick. The washer clip is wedged in there. Either flick it straight or spin the screw out and flick it off.
