Hi all

Light Carbon is a direct to consumer brand and one of the better OEM suppliers I have tried and recommend for your consideration (NO I’m NOT sponsored).

After months of riding and weeks of trying to put this video together (ironically) Hambini releases a video of his Light Carbon Frame (different to this one) but what were the chances? HOWEVER what does this mean for you, is that you don’t have to just take my word for it about Light Carbon!

The LCG071-D Frameset is the one I went for based on its spec and the fact its EPS moulded and the video explains all in detail. After all it’s your choice and people vote with their wallets but hopefully what you’ll get from this video is an unbiased view (Yes I paid for this myself). Equally they are unaware of this video until now.

Plenty of videos to come and as mentioned I have been a former UK distributor for another brand (not this one) so I have a slightly different perspective…more on that one another time. But most of all I am here to review not to sell.

Hope you enjoy.

  1. How is your comparison to the rinasclta granite while building it up? I want a comfortable frame which fits 38mm tires to get a one bike does it all kinda bike. Thank you for the great videos!

  2. OMG I've forgot the all important weight. In this build with alloy wheels, stem and handlebar just over 9kg. So not too bad. Obviously you could make it lighter but this rides just fine!
Also as a few have asked for tyre clearance. 700*53C or 650B*2.1'' or 29er*1.95''.

  3. Hello, what tyre size have on bike? is there any room for bigger tyres? Based on spec there should be space for 53mm, If I decide to buy for this frame I want to try fit 55mm 🙂 Thank you, Pavel
