  1. I honestly don’t know.

My friend lives in his truck and he bought one because it takes less space in comparison to a normal bmx and honestly it’s so much fun to the point I consider getting one at some point.

Also pretty good to learn some tricks!

  2. Poorbuild quality, bad geometry, actively promoted by cunts and shit brands like mafia or rocker.

Basically encapsulate the negative aspects of BMX into one easily observed item.

Just get a 14 or 16 inch frame. Not 12 inch hybrid bike costing the same as a full sized bike of usually better quality.

  3. Because it’s a novelty bike and not really an actual BMX. If people like them then that’s all well and fine, but let’s be honest, they’re not really a proper BMX.

  4. Cause they’re just a stupid idea, come on they’re a 5 year olds bike with massive bars, it’s a clown bike, has zero use outside of dicking around in a skatepark where you’d get way more fun on a proper bike or board etc. The very definition of a fad to make sales rather than offering anything genuinely good.

  5. I think the issue with hate on subs in general.

The bikes look fun for 5 minutes but pretty sure the main issue is low quality and back pain after 5 minutes.

But if you enjoy it. Enjoy it

  6. Fuzzy-Butterscotch86 on

I’m old enough to remember the first company mass producing and selling these marketed towards bmx riders was Razor. As in the scooter company scooter kids ripped on.

Certainly didn’t buy them any good will.

  7. If you like it so much, do you really need external validation? I think they’re corny and have zero interest in them but you do you

  8. Like many things shunned by the community they look like great fun; but you would not want to let your friends see you on one.

  9. Everybody that got one, got hop whipps in less than a month. Hate all you want they are apparently a useful learning tool.

  10. I haven’t really seen *hate* for it (until you basically asked for people to shit on them lol), but they’ve never been considered serious bikes as you seem to feel they are. They’re for people with disposable income (or their parents do) to fuck around on. When I raced, we’d have a pit bike race during intermission. It was fun and kinda funny, but no one rode them outside of that, except a practice lap or two during gate practice. Some guys did get ridiculously good on them, tho. One dude cleared a small triple on his 😂

  11. My kid loves it, makes his feet faster o. His race bike, and helped another pedal manual.

They have a purpose, the kids love them, and they are fun for them. Anyone who hates on them just doesn’t like kids to be happy.
