I thought Prig was supposed to be in Africa? He was making grand proclamations about making Africa 'more free' only 2 or 3 days ago. We can only speculate, but I suspect that was the last straw for Putin–he realised he needed to get rid of him (and the other Wagner leaders who were onboard)
