what make is that bike. I would have expected bikes to be way more robust than this. and I thought the whole ~*triangles*~ thing make them super strong lol

Sadly, yes, once. You only make this mistake once per frame, because the frame is toast after that. Hopefully you and I will both only make this mistake once ever.

Yes!!! Happened to me to but was a pothole, and it buckled not only the downtube, but the toptube as well!
