I’m not sure if this is fine or not but the crank arm came loose, when I took mount the bolt to put it together this is what it looked like (also pics of the crank arm socket)

Threads on that bolt are fucked, and likely also the threads in the spindle. Unless you have a buddy in a machine shop or you have a good drill and already have a heli-coil kit, 8-spline cranks are not worth doing a repair. Buy new cranks.
