A couple of days ago my LBS changed the BB and today I noticed that it’s a MTB BB-501, whereas previously it was an Ultegra BB. Now I know that these are interchangeable but the BB-501 requires spacers when installed on a road frame. Does that look right to you? It looks like it’s releasing grease on the driveside and attracting lots of dirt.

LBS should have just fitted a road BB. The grease leaking out is normal. Just wipe it off.
They are both hollowtech II compatabile so it doesn’t really matter, spacers are used to get a perfect chainline and that is normal. Grease could be leftover from installation, just wipe it down.
