  1. Short answer no, doesn’t matter.

    Something to caution you about is that your hitch and rack look very low. You might consider a hitch riser. Could just be the photo so measure the height and compare it to the manufacturer recommended ride height.

  2. No. The rack is pinching the wheels against the rack, so the bike isn’t going to move via the suspension. There’s some wobble but it’s normal for any rack.

  3. I use a 4x 1Up rack; I’ve never locked the suspension on any of the bikes I carry. I don’t think it would make any tangible difference.
