Hi all. Done loads of research and narrowed it down to three new model giant bikes. The Fast Road AR1, Escape Disc 0, and the Roam Disc 0. My use case is 2 mile daily commute over poor condition roads and bike paths, but would also like to take it off road for the odd trips, but nothing too extreme. I really want One Chainring. Given the differences seem minor, which one should I go for? Ive got a spec comparison of all three here;

The Fastroad has the best spec (tubeless, thru axle, XT etc), and will be the lightest of the three. Question is how often and how severe your offroad adventures will be, as the suspension fork on the Roam might be useful if you plan to do a lot of offroading. The suspension fork on the Roam will hamper the performance/efficiency on tarmac considerably.
If it was me, I’d take the Fastroad, the tyres are wide enough to run fairly low pressures offroad, especially given they’re tubeless. None of the three are serious offroad machines, but they’re all capable of heading off the tarmac
