I see some bikes that have a different finishing tape at the end of the bar tape than just the usual electrical tape. It looks like some sort of cloth material. What is this kind of tape called? I really like the look of it. Does anybody know one that would look good on the aeroad cockpit?

I use Ice Hockey Stick Tape, looks the same as the tape in the photo.

Canyon’s bar tape has a finishing tape included and it looks similar like this
It blows my mind that in 2024 people are still using cheap electrical tape to finish off bar tape on $20K+ bicycles. I personally wrap mine “backwards” so there’s no need at all for the tape. Much cleaner look IMHO.
