    Touring through Germany on a fixed gear bike – a 4600 km bikepacking adventure

    Last year I tried to cycle through all the cities in Germany that have at least 100.000 inhabitants. On my fixed-gear bike. It was hard at times but it was also a lot of fun.

      Man, huge respect of what you've done here. Such an effort. Nice documentary about it. I guess a lot of creators would have tried and made few movies from such adventure. I appreciate the form you choose. Keep spinnig that fixed gear.

      I feel inspired now to do some bikepacking on my single speed. As soon as my weight will drop enough to not overpack my bike with stuff and me 😛

      Einfach ein tolles Video! Leid, Schmerz, Fahrrad, zu krass wie du halt auch in Bushaltestellen pennst, würde ich nie mit dem Bahnrad machen!

      bei 14:30 war ich auch den Tränen nahe, danke für das Teilen des Moments.
      In meiner Top Bag sind Marzipankugeln, beste Energie/Gewicht/Praktisch Ausbeute für mich.
      Etwas trocken im Abgang, aber das erinnert dann auch ans Trinken. 🙂
      Bevor ich mich vegan ernährt habe, war mein Supermarkt Fast Food gerne diese XL Tüte Eigenmarke Tortillas + 2 Becher Kräuterquark und ne Paprika.
      Jeden Tag Brot reinwürgen, war auch nicht so meins 🙂
      Ich hab mehr Angst vor wilden Menschen als vor Tieren.

      Finde es absolut fantastisch, dir bei deiner Reise zuschauen zu können! 2 sind mir dann doch gekommen, wie hast du dein Rad nachts abgesichert oder abgeschlossen und hattest du je einen Platten oder wie hast du deine Reifen bei einer solche langen Reise immer ordentlich aufgepumpt? Immer an Radläden gestoppt und dort einen kurzen Check durchgeführt?

      This is so underrated. Its like a full sized documentary. Sadly the algos arent rewarding this, so at least I can thumbs up and comment. Looking forward to do this myself with my fixie!

      Ah cool, in meiner Heimatstadt Karlsruhe warst auch 🙂 Unglaublich durch ganz Deutschland mit nur einem Gang zu fahren! Also bei 10 Prozent Rampen hier im Schwarzwald ist es selbst mit Schaltung anstrengend.Aber im Rheintal Richtung Frankfurt oder nach Frankreich geht es singlespeed mäßig gut 🙂
