Ooh. That is a nice Paramount. It would be cool to send that off to Waterford for restoration.

Great bikes. Would be worth something to collectors. But don’t part with that Paramount; you’d regret it for the rest of your life.

Nice bikes, OP! I lusted after a Manta Ray when I was a pup. Unusual, in that most bikes I have seen of this style had a much smaller front wheel installed, like the Raleigh vesion of the “chopper”.

I see a LOOK 753 in the front window of the shop (on the website) – r/vintage_bicycles demands details. I love the Paramount and vote to leave as-is. Thanks for the pics, this is awesome and brings back memories. I worked at a shop in Ann Arbor that had a basement (and an attic) and there were myriad mysteries/treasures down there that I didn’t appreciate at the time.

Nice bikes. Especially the red and yellow. If you’re not sure why everyone is saying Waterford, that’s Richard Schwinn’s shop

My goodness. This is so cool. Congrats! My parents ran a bike shop in mid 70’s. I have total respect for the disciple and passion required to keep it going for all these years. May it be a great journey! Next time I’m in St. Louis will have to stop by!

Those bikes might be worth more than the rest of the shop.

Here is a link to a page with all of them on it though none of them have any real detail shots:
