Just unscrewed the topcap of my new Grizl since it „clicks“ in the headset (is this the right term?) when braking with the front brake.
The inner part of the topcap doesn’t look right. What happened there? Has it been overtightened?

Expander too high in the steerer tube?
You overtightened it and need a new spacer. Canyon does not run classical expanders. To the other poster: It’s called a “wedge” what’s in there.
expander too high or to much pressure. I crack one and even if i’ve got 2 cap for replacement, i just found a piece of plastic way thicker with the diameter of the entire tube and i put this instead.
