Hi, was just wondering whether the bottom part in this pic is bent or if it's just supposed to be like this. Shimano Deore XT M8100 of the Pathlite 6 (brand new). Canyon suggested bringing it to a bike shop but I've read contradicting opinions online. Does yours look similar? Thanks!

Looks bent to me! Take the bike back and get it replaced and not straightened.
Afaik Shimano 12 spent is meant to be somewhat bent (see https://www.mtbr.com/threads/are-all-the-12-speed-mechs-bent.1127491/). Not sure if yours is bent too much though, maybe take it to a shop and get them to have a look
