Another day, another tarantula sighting on a gravel ride. Nowhere near the caliber of last week’s shot but this spider had a better strut I think. Real sass.
Taken on Red Creek road East, on the weekly Red Creek Rally group ride. It runs all year.
Ride safe out there y’all. Maybe come ride bikes in Pueblo.

For a yankee that looks brutal!
Are you actually seeing these West of Pueblo? I was under the impression most of the tarantula migration was SE of Pueblo.
I have been meaning to come down to Pueblo and get some rides in before it gets too cool for tarantulas
I will be in Pueblo for the Grassroots Gravel in October! No tarantulas then…but I have them here in New Mexico also.
Yup, that’s gonna be a big fat NO for me, dog….
Love me a cute blonde!!
I keep meaning to get out to that ride – I’m just over in Cañon. Seeing tarantulas en route is some strong encouragement for me, being from Southern Arizona originally, and really missing seeing big arachnids more often.
