So I bought a couple of King Cage Manythings for the (steel) fork of my Bombora. The spacing of the bolt holes and the bosses does not match – the fork has 2 bosses 17cm apart.
Does anyone know of a cargo cage that would work here, or would I have to use some kind of adapter?

Standard spacing for water bottle bosses is 64mm whether that’s the typical 2-bolt configuration, or 3-pack mounts. I’m not familiar with the Crust Bombora fork, but that spacing leads me to think that the bosses are for mounting rack/fender struts and not bottle/cargo cages.
Those braze on mounts on the crust fork are rack mounts. You can get things that add warts to your fork to install cargo cages, King Cage, Tanaka, and others make them.
I’d be tempted to use the Ortleib fork packs, mounting the middle hole to the mid blade braze on, and then using the supplied adapters for the upper and lower mounts.
Those are rack mounts not cage mounts. Cage mounts are 64mm spacing. Or 63 or 65 depending on who installed them.
