It’s stage 18 of 38 of our biketouring adventure!
We’ve only got a short ride today from Sunderland to Newcastle. If we went straight there it would have been around 18kms. We decided to take a bit of a scenic route instead along the coast for a little longer.
Luckily the hotel we stayed at (Motel One Newcastle) let us check in pretty early and also had a bike shed for us! So we had plenty of time to check out Newcastle. We were glad to have a nice sunny day for our exploring. We visited the Great North Museum but didn’t manage to get much filming in there!
The Gateshead Millenium Bridge was pretty cool too and we got there just in time to see it turning for a boat to pass. The waterfront was a vibe and could definitely see having some drinks there!
We’re beginners to biketouring but that won’t stop us from diving right in for a 3 month biketour! Join us on our cycling adventure!
